Mrs. Shaun Felger Moylan is beginning her 4th year teaching at St. Anthony. This year, Mrs. Moylan will be the PreK-5 Grade Music Teacher and 1st and 2nd Grade Assistant. Mrs. Moylan is certified in Elementary Education.
Mrs. Moylan was born and raised in the New Orleans area. She attended St. Bernadette Catholic School and Vandebilt Catholic High School in Houma, LA, which is about an hour south west of the New Orleans. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA in 2004 and taught at the South Louisiana Center for the Arts. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Mrs. Moylan moved to Boston and then to Florida in the Fall of 2007. She began teaching at St. Anthony in the Spring of 2011. Mrs. Moylan lives in Ft. Lauderdale with her husband, daughter Lily Grace and pet babies, Bella and Gryphon.
In addition to singing, Mrs. Moylan was a dancer for over 20 years and was on her high school and college dance teams. In 1996, when she was a sophomore in high school, she was chosen to dance in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade along with a few hundred dancers from around the country. In college, she traveled the country performing in various choral concerts with her college choir, singing at Carnegie Hall, St. Patrick Cathedral and the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. She has also performed in many stage musicals throughout Louisiana and Boston and her favorite role was the Witch in the musical "Into the Woods".
